Porcelain fused to Zirconia Crowns and Bridges (P.F.Z.)
Zirconia, a high-tech ceramic material, is characterized by its outstanding stability,
biocompatibility, and strength levels which is significantly higher than other
all-ceramic materials. We offer several types of zirconia: Procera, GC Aadva,
Straumann CARES, Zirkonzahn and our own aesthetic zirconia.
Crowns and Bridges Benefits: Preparations require removal of less tooth structure
and offers excellent aesthetics and translucency. Shaded frameworks are very strong,
thin, and translucent to ensure a natural and vital appearance with outstanding
marginal fit. This results in the superior strength of zirconia with high fracture
resistance.
Full Zirconia Crowns and Bridges (F.Z.C)
When discussing the reoccurring issue of whether solid full zirconia crowns are
indicated in aesthetics, abrasion characteristics, compatibility, and strength,
it is clear that a special translucent zirconia is first in demand. Prettau Zirconia
was developed and eliminated the use of veneer ceramics entirely. Prettau Zirconia
is not only highly translucent it is in use in conjunction with a specialized
coloring technique to provide an aesthetically pleasing crown as well as a bridge.
Zirconia is without a doubt the material with the highest stability and fracture
toughness, and Zirkonzahn now offers the Prettau Zirconia with both extra translucency
and strength.
IPS e.max
IPS e.max is a new, highly aesthetic and a high-strength all-ceramic material
used with the PRESS and CAD/CAM technology. You can select the most suitable components
from a variety of materials offered in the coordinated restorative system. IPS
e.max opens up a host of maximum, unexpected possibilities and is versatile and
economical.
Porcelain fused to Zirconia Crowns and Bridges (P.F.M.)
Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) restorations are still the most prescribed restorative
treatment alternative to date. Offering several different types of metals with
which to fabricate the substructure, DDO readily provides clinicians with a wide
variety of PFM crowns and bridges.
Porcelain margins are recommended to dramatically improve the aesthetic result
by enabling natural light to penetrate at the gingival margins. The PFM restorations
appear so natural; they rival some of the most innovative restorative options
available.
